JEE Main 8 April 2023, Shift 1, Physics Q32

Question 32 of 90 in this shift, Physics question 2 of 30, Section A.

An air bubble of volume 1 cm31\ \mathrm{cm^3} rises from the bottom of a lake 40 m40\ \mathrm{m} deep to the surface at a temperature of 12∘C12^\circ\mathrm{C}. The atmospheric pressure is 1×105 Pa1\times10^5\ \mathrm{Pa}, the density of water is 1000 kg/m31000\ \mathrm{kg/m^3} and g=10 m/s2g = 10\ \mathrm{m/s^2}. There is no difference of the temperature of water at the depth of 40 m40\ \mathrm{m} and on the surface. The volume of air bubble when it reaches the surface will be:
  1. (1)2 cm32\ \mathrm{cm^3}
  2. (2)3 cm33\ \mathrm{cm^3}
  3. (3)4 cm34\ \mathrm{cm^3}
